| Two great cigars and a pairing. A new cigar just released called Via Havana Toro ($8.95) smoking a nice mild cigar, good consistence smoke with a good smoke at half the price of cubans; closest to Cuban you can get. Paired with the Lucifer beer, a light Belgian ale served in a Lucifer glass on our patio. Next up, going bold and big, ask us for this cigar because it won't be in the shelf: it's the "Feral Flying Pig with a twist" 52 ring gauge by 51/2 ($19.95) available only three per customer. Come taste this for yourself. You need to try this before I say anything, but come in and pair it with Trappistes Rochefoet 10, a belgian ale it took us a year of asking to get. 11.3 alcohol and has a toasty flavor of Belgian hops, heavy and also in an official glass. You need to let this one breathe before you taste its full power. |
